Naoko Maeda - Concert Pianist

Finally, I made a CD to Yoko, my friend, and it is ready to ship. I used the Talia's painting for the design of the CD and the CD became very pretty.

I am now going to focus on performances and making my next CD that will include pieces all composed and performed by myself...a long way to go.

The pieces included in this CD is:

I will accompany Detra Battle, soprano singer, at
“George Shirley and Friends” Concert.
A benefit concert for Ottley Music School.

January 11th from 4 pm at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center of
the University of Maryland, College Park,
in the Joseph and Alma Gildenhorn Recital Hall which seats 300.

Yoshimi Kadota and I will have a performance for
Cultural Events of the Korea Daily ( Jung Ang Newspaper).
The date is Dec. 27th.

The music we perform is:

3. 보리밭(Korean song)

In the past paformances, I have performed many pieces of Debussy. His music is very beautiful and interesting. Recently, I uploaded many pieces from my past performances. I hope you can enjoy.

Naoko's activity in December #3;

Yoshimi Kadota and I will perform three music pieces for Korean Women's Association Sunday 14th.
The pieces are;
*Kuriun Kumgang san
*Have yourself a Merry little Christmas (Arranged by Naoko)
And something one more.

Will upload "Have yourself a Merry little Christmas" after 14th
on You tube.
Hope this piece will be performed successfully.

Naoko's activitiy in December #2;

Yoshimi Kadota sang two music pieces and I was an accompanist of her at Christmas Gala for The Korean American Medical Association (KAMA) Saturday, Dec. 6th.

It was fun night.

The performance at the Cheverly United Methodist Church has been released on CD. All classical pieces and 12 Gershwin pieces were packed into the CD. A church photo at the performance is the cover. Beautiful, isn't it!
